BETTER BY TWO
The uneven edge of this young woman’s two front teeth comes from grinding her teeth in her sleep. We re-shaped them with two veneers and provided a mouth guard to stop the unconscious grinding.
GOOD GROOMING
For his wedding day, this young man invested in a brighter smile. Six crowns cover his front teeth, preparing him for the big day – and the photographer. Downright handsome!
BRIDE’S SMILE, REVISITED
A bride-to-be came to us complaining of too-small teeth with too-big spaces. First, we whitened her teeth. Then, we matched the brightened color to composite filling material and re-shaped each of her upper front teeth. She walked in beauty!
TOOTH JACKETS
Whitening this gentleman’s teeth in the usual way wouldn’t work – the significant number of composite fillings in his front teeth would resist the bleaching compound. He chose, instead, to cover eight teeth with crowns, improving both their color and shape.
TOUGH BREAK
Playgrounds are full of action – until you come in contact with the very stationary pole of a swing set. This young patient’s tooth broke, and the offending pole left its mark in blue paint. We sent him back, smile restored, to play another day.
MIND THE GAP
This young woman’s silver filling was many years old and beginning to erode. The resulting gaps were catch-alls for food, and new decay took hold. We removed the old filling, cleaned up the cavity, and re-filled with a composite material, matched to her tooth color.
